    The head of the Federal Integrity Commission, Haider Hanoun, called for mobilizing the efforts of all national activities, whether official or societal. To fight the "great war" on corruption, expressing optimism about the definite victory over the corrupt and bringing them to justice.
    During his meeting with the management and employees of the Commission's investigation office in Dhi Qar, which was attended by the head of the governorate's appeals court, its police director and the general director of the Commission's investigations department, Hanoun described the oversight agencies and their collaborators from the executive and legislative authorities, led by the judiciary, law enforcement agencies and honorable citizens, as a combat army. corruption.”
    He pointed out, "The pervasiveness of the scourge of corruption and the implementation of its perpetrators makes it imperative for the oversight bodies, especially the Federal Integrity Commission, to devise modern ways to confront corruption, urging the need to work "hard day and night" to defeat the corrupt and break their power.
    He warned against malicious reports targeting honest employees. In order to silence their voice by the corrupt," noting that "this can be thwarted through the investigation and sober investigation processes in the news, and diligence and diligence in presenting files supported by evidence and evidence."  
     He added that the commission is not only determined to pursue the perpetrators of corruption, refer them to the judiciary and put them behind the bars of justice, and impose appropriate penalties, but it is also determined to follow up on the smuggled proceeds and revenues of corruption and make strenuous efforts to return them to the state treasury, through several procedures, including the signing of bilateral agreements to overcome obstacles to recovery. Such as convicts obtaining the nationalities of countries and entering the money they obtained as a result of corruption in the projects and economies of those countries.
     Hanoun praised the "high cooperation and coordination with the judiciary and the government in this war, in which these three parties seek to eradicate this scourge that is eating away at state institutions from the inside." Among them are the interior, defense and justice ministers. 
    For his part, the President of the Court of Appeal of Dhi Qar, Judge Ali Al-Atabi, affirmed the support of the President of the Supreme Judicial Council, Faeq Zaidan, to the efforts of the Commission in combating corruption and punishing its perpetrators in accordance with the law, and directing the investigative courts specialized in integrity issues to overcome the obstacles facing the Commission and its offices and directorates in the governorates.
    While the Dhi Qar police chief noted that "the war on corruption is a fierce war, expressing his full readiness to provide cooperation and coordination with the Commission's investigation office in the governorate to investigate and investigate any corruption case, and to implement judicial orders and notes."
