[rtl]Baghdad / NINA / - Head of the Federal Integrity Commission, Haider Hanoun, affirmed that the executive and judicial authorities and the Integrity Commission represent the anti-corruption triangle in the country and have a real tendency to eradicate its clutches from the body of the state .
Hanoun said during his meeting with the UAE Minister of Justice (Abdullah bin Sultan bin Awad Al-Nuaimi) in the UAE capital, Abu Dhabi, that the Integrity Commission in Iraq works on two tracks, the first: recovering funds obtained from corruption, and the second: bringing those involved to justice; To receive their just punishment by putting them behind bars.
He explained that the success of integrity in recovering the proceeds of corruption and expansion that represents a contribution to building a strong state, and enhances the citizen's confidence in the state, presenting the tasks assigned to the Iraq Fund for Recovery on the one hand, and those undertaken by the Recovery Department in the Commission.
For his part, the UAE Minister of Justice praised the oversight bodies in Iraq and the speed with which they completed the files and handed them over to the countries where the convicts reside, pointing out that the UAE side has received the recovery files while they are under protocol judicial procedures.
And he affirmed his support for the Iraqi state apparatus seeking to besiege and eliminate the phenomenon of corruption, and to seek more cooperation in this field, which was achieved after the visit of the President of the Supreme Judicial Council, Judge (Dr. Faeq Zaidan ), praising the social, political and economic relations between Iraq and the Emirates, and working to document and strengthen them.
