revealed today, Saturday, the Investigation Department of the Integrity Commission, that cases of manipulation occurred in the appointments of regional development contracts in Wasit Governorate.
The department said, in a statement received by Mawazine News, that "the field team of the Wasit Investigation Office, which moved to the governorate office, revealed cases of manipulation in the appointment orders of regional development contracts through similarity in names, appointing people under the legal age, and continuing to pay salaries and financial differences." Contracts that have been terminated based on requests from their owners.
And she added, “The Ministry of Finance agreed early this year to create job grades for the names sent by the governorate,” indicating that “the number of personal files belonging to contractors in the Files Division of the Governorate Office - Contracts Department amounted to 1862 files, while those sent to the Ministry of Finance for the purpose of confirmation 1890 contractors, including 10 contractors whose names have been approved, despite their contract being officially terminated, 18 others who stopped working, 10 retirees outside the legal age, and one underage employee born in 2006, as he was contracted in 2019.
She pointed out that there is "similarity and repetition in the names of 81 of the contractors, and 10 others. It was found that the administrative order issued for their appointment was taken from another employee's direct order, and 8 contractors according to Resolution 315 were terminated according to administrative orders and replacements were appointed for them, but they are still continuing to serve and receive their salaries." And the differences,” noting that “administrative orders were issued to terminate their services and appoint a replacement, at their request and with the approval of the governor.
