Today, Thursday (August 17, 2023), the head of the National State Forces Alliance, Ammar al-Hakim, called on members of Parliament to invest in the current stage, which is characterized by stability, to pass important laws.
Al-Hakim said in a statement received by "Baghdad Today", that "the approval of important laws and regular attendance at the sessions of the House of Representatives were the most important files that we discussed with a number of members of the House of Representatives, led by Representative Duaa Kazem Al-Aqabi."
He added, "We called for investing in the current stage, which is characterized by stability, to pass important laws, especially those that are in direct contact with the lives of citizens, and that contribute to improving the service reality for them," stressing that "the current state of calm the country is witnessing provides an ideal environment for initiating laws that affect the foundations of the political system and complete its structure." .
He continued, "We stressed the importance of accompanying the legislative work with the oversight work, and the importance of integration between the work of the government and the work of the House of Representatives."
