    Information/private..
Despite the government's moves to end violations of the region's oil exports by approving the oil and gas law, the obstacle is the Kurdish parties that are pushing the law to be disrupted by objecting to the paragraphs and articles of the law that will end the region's violations of oil extraction and export operations through the Turkish port of Ceyhan.

The continuous objection and the placement of obstacles are due to preventing the passage of the law that might end the theft of contracts with foreign extraction companies in which Barzani’s government is considered a key partner, as well as ending the seizure of oil revenues and the positions it controls as a result; Exporting independently of the central government and the national SOMO company.
    *Obstacles of the Kurds
Speaking about this file, former member of the House of Representatives, Jassim Muhammad Jaafar, reveals the articles that the Kurdish parties object to in the oil and gas law, while confirming that the Kurdistan government continues to play tricks in order to disrupt the law.
Jaafar said, in an exclusive interview with the Maalouma Agency, that “the first objection was against the clause in which the National Marketing Company (SOMO) controls the operations of extracting, exporting and selling oil and gas,” noting that “all the articles that the Kurdish parties object to are not legal and constitutional, but rather In order to continue seizing the country’s wealth.”
He adds, "The law stipulates that one general director controls the operations of extracting 100,000 barrels of oil per day," pointing out that "the Kurdish parties do not want to approve the law because it will end their share of general directors, which amounts to 10 directors out of 18 directors."
Jaafar added during his speech: “The Kurdish parties are exploiting the weakness of governments in order to obtain high percentages of money and oil and gas revenues, and the passage of the law will end all of these operations,” adding that “the Kurdistan government continues to play games in order to disrupt the oil and gas law.”

    *Modification movement
In addition, former member of the House of Representatives, Jassim Muhammad Jaafar, reveals the articles that the Kurdish parties object to in the oil and gas law, while confirming that the Kurdistan government continues to play games in order to disrupt the law.

Jaafar asserts during his speech: “The Kurdish parties exploit the weakness of governments in order to obtain high percentages of money and oil and gas revenues, and the passage of the law will end all of these operations,” adding that “the Kurdistan government continues to play games in order to disrupt the oil and gas law.”
    *Continuous thefts
For his part, political analyst, Sabah Al-Ukaili, believes that the Kurdistan region continues to pose obstacles to the approval of the oil and gas law, while he stressed that the adoption of the law will prevent all disputes in the oil provinces, especially the Kurdistan region.
Al-Ugaili said, in an interview with the Maalouma Agency, that “the oil and gas law is a road map for distributing Iraq’s wealth equally throughout the governorates,” pointing out that “there are major differences that stand in the way of approving the oil and gas law between the central government and the Kurdistan region.”
He continues, "The region does not seek to facilitate the passage of the oil and gas law in order to continue to deal with it as a separate state from Iraq in many files," noting that "Kurdistan does not want to pass the law because it will end all ongoing smuggling operations outside Iraq."
Al-Ugaili confirms: “The Kurdish parties have not yet adhered to the decisions of the central government in order to impose the law on the issue of extracting and exporting oil and gas,” noting that “approving the law will prevent all disputes in the oil provinces, especially the Kurdistan region.”
The Kurdish parties continue to obstruct the moves to approve the oil and gas law, which a vote on within the corridors of Parliament has become a must, in order to end the violations and thefts carried out by the Kurdistan Regional Government in the oil smuggling file in isolation from the central government and the seizure of revenue funds in general.
