Deputy//Hasan Salman aozmn, the importance of establishing free
economic zones to trade both within cities or in border areas because it
will reduce the price of imported materials and goods from abroad.
Aozmn
said (News News Agency): towards the establishment of free economic
zones in all Iraqi provinces along border areas with neighboring
countries because it will reduce the cost of transporting goods and will
reduce their price in the domestic market.
He added: there are
local and foreign companies have cravings investment free economic zones
on the common border with Iraq's neighbors, particularly Iran and
Jordan.
Founded General Authority for free zones of Iraq pursuant
to Act No. 3 of 1998 in order to keep pace with global developments to
increase coherence in international economic relations in the context of
economic freedom in order to isolate the developments on the Iraqi
economy, privacy and accelerate the socio-economic development by
attracting national and foreign capital and industrial ventures that use
