{Baghdad} Euphrates News Parliament Speaker Salim al-Jubouri, said Monday that parliament will satisfy increase the salaries of its members.
He said al - Jubouri, said in a statement the agency {Euphrates News}, a copy of it, that "received the suffering of the House of Representatives of false campaign to curb its oversight role and through raising the issue of increasing the salaries of members of the Council."
He added, "The House of Representatives is keen to exercise the legislative and supervisory role during the legislative term and that the voice of the people will not be deterred by these deceptive practices."
He pointed out that "Parliament will satisfy increasing the salaries of its members at a time when the Iraqi citizen suffers from difficulties in providing a decent living."
The MP for the National Alliance Haider Alkaaba, announced yesterday, increasing the salaries of members of parliament, noting that "members of the former nominal parliament salaries were four million won increase them after a decision to amend the House members ' salaries , " noting that "nominal salary for members of the House of Representatives became five million to deduct 45% of the total allocation for the salary ".anthy
