    On February 12, Iraq's reconstruction conference will be held in the State of Kuwait. Iraq will present the feasibility study and the ready-made license for sixty major investment projects exceeding its investment of 85 billion dollars.
    An official source in the Organization of Kuwait told "Economy News" that "within the activities of the Kuwait International Conference on Reconstruction and Development of Iraq, the conference will be held in Iraq jointly organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Kuwait and the National Authority for Investment in the Republic of Iraq, the World Bank and Kuwait Fund Arab Economic Development ".
    He added that "the conference will be attended by investors from different countries of the world, and presents Iraq's feasibility study, and the license ready for sixty basic investment projects exceed the investment of 85 billion dollars, and supported by the World Bank guarantee, compensation and First Loss , and search for markets," adding that " The development of Iraq is the first reconstruction conference to be offered by the World Bank to the private sector. "
    The World Bank's Special Representative for the World Bank, Yara Salem, said in an interview with "Economy News" that "the current situation is encouraging for the success of the work of the private sector, especially that the international donor conference to be held in Kuwait from February 12 to 14 will accelerate reforms Economic involvement by engaging the local, Arab and international private sector in the process of building Iraq. "
    The economy will receive 157 opportunities divided into 18 opportunities for the fertilizers, chemicals, petrochemicals and refineries sectors, 16 transportation opportunities, 4 opportunities for special economic zones, 3 housing opportunities, 6 opportunities for the engineering and construction industries, 12 opportunities for the commercial sector and two opportunities. For tourism and tourism, 10 for health and education and 86 for agricultural sector.
    According to the source, a large number of countries will participate in the conference, including America, Canada and Saudi Arabia.
    The conference will be chaired by Iraq, Kuwait, the European Union, the United Nations and the World Bank. More than 70 Arab and foreign countries and a regional and international donor organization are expected to participate in the conference. According to the Iraqi government and World Bank estimates, it will cost $ 100 billion .
    While the US Deputy Secretary of State John Sullivan said that "the meeting of the High Coordination Committee chaired by the US State Department, and the Iraqi was very fruitful in the framework of moving forward in activating the strategic framework agreement between the two countries, and support economic relations, trade and investment," stressing that " The United States will attend the donors meeting to be held in Kuwait through the participation of Foreign Minister, Mr. Rex Tilerson, and encourage the presence of more than 100 US investment companies seeking to work and contribute to the reconstruction of Iraq.
    "The State Department will have an intensive effort to encourage more US companies to work in Iraq, with a fertile environment for investment, cooperation in security coordination and expansion of relations between the two countries," Sullivan said.
