    Information / Baghdad ..
LONDON (Reuters) - Saudi Arabia failed to create influence in Iraq during parliamentary elections on May 12, the newspaper Al-Arabi al-Jadeed reported on Wednesday, citing a number of senior Sunni leaders refusing to deal with Saudi minister Thar al-Sabhan.
The newspaper said in a report seen by the information, "The" talk about the role of Saudi currently exaggerated by far, even Sunni political leaders in the three main blocs, a decision led by Osama Najafi and Ahmed Al-Masari, and the solution led by Jamal Karbouli and Ahmed Abdullah al-Jubouri , And the national led by Iyad Allawi and Salim Jubouri, reserved to deal with Minister Thamer al-Sobhan and Yahya Shraheli, apparently because of confusion in Saudi Arabia's dealings with the Sunni Arab forces and the failure to understand the nature of the Iraqi Sunni political street.
"The failure of Wadah al-Sadid, presented by Riyadh as a candidate supported by it and financially and media support, to achieve any little result in the elections inside his stronghold in Mosul, is a small picture of the failure of the Saudis to create influence within Iraq."
Saudi Arabia has been trying to change the distribution of the three presidential posts in Iraq to give the post of president of the republic to a Sunni figure, while of course it is the parliament of the Kurdish and the government remains the share of the Shiite alliance " . Ending / 25
