    The directives of Prime Minister Adel Abdul-Mahdi on the conduct of investigations of cases of martyrdom and injury among demonstrators and members of the security services in Baghdad and the provinces accompanied a series of angry comments on his account in the "Facebook"

    The comments carried warnings to the prime minister against laxity and underestimation of the blood of martyrs and demonstrations that came out calling for rights, recalling the fate of Iraqi presidents who have succeeded to govern the country.

    There were other comments about corruption and the mechanism to combat it, where commentators went to naming the corrupt names and the amount of money that was stolen and to any party was going.
    The comments did not leave appeals for the fate of detainees during the protests in Baghdad, demanding the prime minister for their release, as well as other demands on the appointments.

    Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi, during an extraordinary session of the National Security Council, formed an investigative committee headed by the Joint Operations Command and the membership of the relevant bodies to investigate the cases of martyrdom and injury among demonstrators and members of security services As of 12/10/2019, the National Security Council also decided to expedite the completion of the formation of a law-enforcement force

    The council also discussed the repercussions of the Turkish military invasion of Syria and its effects on Iraq. The towers and the installation of thermal cameras to secure the Iraqi-Syrian border, and authorize the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Immigration and Displaced administrative and financial powers to build a camp containing the inhabitants of the Syrian Hul camp.
    He also discussed the issue of the Ministry of Defense officers who have dropped out of service and work to return them to their former units. The Council directed that the Ministry of Defense coordinate with the Ministry of Finance for the purpose of finding appropriate solutions to secure their salaries.
