The Ministry of Construction, Housing and Public Municipalities announced, on Thursday, the approval of increasing the capital of the Iraqi Housing Fund.
A statement by the ministry, which "Mawazine News" received a copy of, stated that "the Minister of Construction, Housing and Public Municipalities, Nazanin Muhammad Wassou, chaired the meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Iraqi Housing Fund, in the presence of members from representatives of the ministries and relevant authorities and departments."
The statement added, "The Minister began the meeting with a welcoming speech to the members of the Council, stressing what the Ministry has done in providing housing for citizens, through loans provided by the Housing Fund, as well as the Ministry's expected role in implementing the (Dari) project, which aims to support classes that do not have housing. Facilitating procedures and eliminating red tape through the use of modern systems.
He continued, "The meeting discussed the topics and paragraphs on the agenda, and took the necessary measures in this regard, as the proposal to increase the fund's capital was approved, and the rest of the procedures will be completed fundamentally to implement this."
The statement indicated, "The approval of the lending plan for the year 2021 was obtained by 21 thousand loans, and the amendment of some paragraphs of the law, the lending instructions and other paragraphs on the agenda." Ended 29/A43
