{Economic: Al Furat News} The General Company for Textile and Leather Industries, one of the companies of the Ministry of Industry and Minerals, announced the start of the reconstruction of the ready-made garments factory {Wadi} in the city of Mosul.
And a statement to the ministry’s media, a copy of which was received by the Euphrates News Agency, quoted the director of the factory, Fawaz Mufleh Darak, as saying, “The project for the reconstruction of the plant was funded by the United Nations Development Program {UNDP} at an amount of four million and 968 thousand and 395 dollars.”
He pointed out, "Al-Bilad Contracting Company Ltd., executing the project, has started its first steps in the reconstruction of the aforementioned factory, where the erection of wooden molds has started to pour concrete columns for the production hall in the factory."
He stressed, "Efforts are continuing to achieve progress in the work and strive to complete the project before the specified period of 540 days."
