{Economic: Al Furat News} The Ministry of Planning revealed the reasons for the high inflation indicators in the country.
The ministry's spokesman, Abdul-Zahra Al-Hindawi told {Euphrates News} that "the inflation rate for the past month amounted to 8.4%, and this percentage is considered normal with the increase in the value of monetary blocks and the high exchange rates of the dollar despite its increase compared to last year."
He added, "There are many reasons behind the rise in inflation rates in the country, including the rise in the exchange rates of the dollar and the presence of recession in some economic activities as a result of the Corona virus, and these reasons all affect the inflation index."
