The Ministry of Planning announced, on Thursday, the start of preparing the 2023 budget, and while it made it clear about resolving its roofs, it confirmed that it will work to reconcile the priorities of the government and its ministerial program when writing it.
The Undersecretary of the Minister of Planning, Maher Hammad, said, "The Ministry of Planning has informed the Ministry of Finance of its initiative to prepare the budget next year," noting that "the 2022 budget that was previously prepared will be changed and amendments to it are made for many considerations, including changing the circumstance and the government," noting that "we will work to make a consensus With the government's priorities, program and ministerial approach in writing the budget.
He added, "We are currently working in detail, as we communicate with the Ministry of Finance on the details related to common sides, whether as an investment budget or as loans," noting that "the budget ceilings have not been determined until now."
