Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry: Sending more than 300 million dinars of aid to those affected by the earthquakes in Turkey and Syria

Shafaq News / The Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Erbil, the capital of Kurdistan Region, announced today, Wednesday, the donation of 10,000 blankets for those affected by the earthquakes in Turkey and Syria, after collecting more than 300 million dinars for them.
"We have collected more than 300 million Iraqi dinars and bought 10,000 blankets for those affected by the earthquakes in Turkey and Syria," said Fida al-Din Muhammad, a member of the Board of Directors of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in a press conference attended by Shafaq News agency.
Muhammad added, "This aid was sent in cooperation with the Kurdistan Regional Government, especially at the border crossings through Fishkhabour and Ibrahim al-Khalil."
And the Sulaymaniyah Chamber of Commerce and Industry had announced, on February 7, that businessmen in the province and the two districts of Garmian and Rabrin began collecting aid and delivering it to those affected by the earthquake in Syria and Turkey.
The Kurdistan Region is one of the first contributors to the aid convoys for those affected by the earthquakes in Turkey and Syria, and it started through the Kurdistan Regional Government and extended to different groups and segments.
