Today, Monday, a member of Parliament, Thaer Al-Saeedi, criticized the statements and news reported by the media by experts and officials, stressing that it is an unhealthy situation and that the government is going towards achieving development and diversifying economic resources.
Al-Saeedi said in a statement to "Al-Mutala" agency, "The appointments included in the budget and the spending rates in them are studied and will not affect the future of Iraq economically, as some imagine, and the government has plans and visions in the ratios and financial budget schedules, especially since it is for three years and therefore will not cause serious problems, as is rumored."
He added, "The government headed by Mr. Muhammad Shia'a al-Sudani is working in more than one way at the level of economic development, and there are new signs to strengthen it and open investment horizons."
He explained, "The current stage can be called a transitional stage towards laying the foundations for the future of Iraq's economy, the most prominent example of which is the launch of the new development path project."
Al-Saeedi added, "There is cooperation and complementarity between the legislative and executive authorities in order to achieve economic and political stability and enact laws that serve the country."
