The Youth Investment Forum reflected the extent of the government’s interest in investing this human capital and ensuring its rights in the private sector, the role of the Supreme Youth Council formed by Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani in preparing youth experiences, and the role of social security in changing youth trends towards employment in the private sector.

Al-Khafaji pointed out that Parliament is supportive of ensuring the rights of workers in the private sector and will impose strict laws that regulate work in a way that preserves the rights of youth and institutions, and also regulates performance in a way that changes the reality of services and production in a way that is better commensurate with ambition.
He pointed out that the focus of achieving sustainable economic development is to place young people in the right place that raises their status and leads a phased economic renaissance that invests in young people’s energies and places them in the right place.
As for the Advisor to the Prime Minister for Youth Affairs, Qasim Al-Zalimi, he touched on the role of the Supreme Youth Council, which was formed by Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani, in preparing youth experiences in a way that serves the country and makes this wealth effective in supporting the national economy.
He pointed out that Iraq is one of the young and smart societies that can advance various productive and service sectors within the country, and he considered the step of forming the Supreme Council for Youth an important one that utilizes this expertise in the right direction.
He stated that the government is working to receive development proposals and implement what serves the youth, and that it is serious in supporting this important segment within Iraqi society, which we know is capable of changing performance paths and advancing its components to a better stage.
In turn, the Director General of the Iraqi Trade Bank, Muhammad Al-Dulaimi, said: We look at the youth with interest because we realize that they are the most important focus of development in the stage of economic advancement that the country is looking towards, pointing out that the bank realizes the importance of small and medium youth projects and has initiatives in this regard.
He stated that the bank has initiatives to empower educated and uneducated women through these initiatives, which will have a significant role in providing broad job opportunities for women, especially since the beginning can be from micro-projects.
The authorized director of the House of Wisdom Foundation for Training and Consultations, Hisham Khaled Abbas, confirmed: The conference focused on very important issues that are in harmony with the government’s directions in investing in youth, who represent the most active group in achieving economic advancement.
He pointed out that the forum focused on digital transformation and technology in small projects, and preparing youth from a strategic perspective, as well as supporting youth and the role of local financing institutions in supporting youth projects, noting that the conference also addressed investing in youth in order to support the private sector, and the role of practical training.
