A member of the Presidency of the House of Representatives Hassan Karim al-Kaabi, on Sunday, the House of Representatives decided to pass three laws to ensure the rights and freedoms in the country, calling on UN organizations to hold development programs aimed at liberated areas to promote peaceful coexistence and community dialogue in the post-"Dahesh".
"Al-Kaabi received in his office in the House of Representatives today, the director of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in Iraq, Gerardo Noto and the team accompanying him," a statement from Al-Kaabi's office said in a statement.
The statement quoted al-Kaabi as saying that "the restructuring of the House of Representatives and the inclusion of the Institute of Parliamentary Service in the focus of the work of the legislative authority," immediate and future, "expressing confidence in the" success of the current session of the House of Representatives after highlighting the bright face through the adoption of important laws and effective control of the performance of government agencies "He said.
He stressed the importance of "parallel to the campaign of reconstruction of these cities, the holding of campaigns and educational courses to build the human and restore confidence in himself and around him, and rid him of violence and fear and persecution during the period of terrorism obscurantism," stressing "the possibility of involving international organizations and benefit from international experiences in the same".
Al-Kaabi called on UN organizations to "hold development programs aimed at liberated areas to promote peaceful coexistence and community dialogue in a post-conflict era and to rebuild bridges of trust between different groups and components."
Gerardo Noto stressed "the continued support of UNDP and its efforts in developing the parliamentary system and restoring the liberated areas." Ending / 25
