    The Korean National Oil Company reported on Thursday that Iraq was the fifth largest exporter of crude oil during the month of February.
    The company stated in a statement, seen by Al-Iqtisad News, that “Saudi Arabia was among the largest exporters to South Korea during the past month with exports amounting to 25.390 million barrels, followed by America second with exports amounting to 13.626 million barrels, followed by the UAE third with exports amounting to 11.110 million barrels, followed by Kuwait.” Fourth, with exports amounting to 10.873 million barrels.
    She added, "Iraq came fifth as the largest exporter of oil to South Korea for the month of February, at 8.419 million barrels, an increase of 13.13% over the same month of 2023, in which oil exports to South Korea amounted to 7.429 million barrels, and an increase of 7.2% over the previous month, which reached 7.851 million." barrel".
    According to the company’s statement, “South Korea has stopped purchasing Kazakh Blend crude with the third largest crude importer in Asia not receiving any shipment of the product in Central Asia in February, as major local refiners found that the logistics of purchasing light crude are very expensive and ineffective amid... Ongoing maritime safety concerns in the Red Sea and industry.”
