    The Governor of Basra Majed Nasraoui, said on Wednesday that Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi ordered the transfer of the security file in Basra (590 km south of Baghdad), from the Defense Ministry to the Interior Ministry, and pointed out that the Iraqi army will be kept in the ground in the areas liberated from al (Daash), as revealed in 1334 required the arrest to the courts during the month of January last, Basra operations command confirmed that the security crackdown in the province focused on the arrest of wanted to "murder, robbery and drugs."

"
    He Nasraoui, that "the general commander of the armed forces, ordered the transfer of the security mission in the province of Basra from the Defense Ministry to the Interior Ministry," adding that "the Iraqi army will be kept in the ground in areas liberated from the elements of the organization (Daash) and safe provincial center will be one of important formations and the Ministry of Interior. "
    For his part, the commander of Basra Operations Major General Samir Abdul Karim said during the conference, "The security forces carried out operations in northern areas of the province and the city center, where arrest warrants for wanted implemented to eliminate in accordance with Article 406 and 405 relating to the murder cases, as well as robbery and drug issues."
    Said Abdul Karim, that "the security forces have focused their campaigns on the arrest of the wanted in the killings, armed robbery, Mtajery and drug abusers were arrested some 60 wanted by the perpetrators of murders and 68 required users and Mtajery drugs through ambushes them."
