The Israeli army announced on Saturday that a number of rocket-propelled grenades landed in an open area north of the Golan Heights, according to its claims.
"Just a few shells landed in an open area north of the Golan Heights," said IDF spokesman Avichay Adarai on his official Facebook page, read by Mawazine News.
"There are no injuries or damage," he said.
The Golan Heights are located in Syria between the Yarmouk River to the south and Jebel Al-Sheikh from the north. They are administratively subordinate to Quneitra Governorate (in both past and present). In 1967, the Israeli army occupied two thirds of its area.
