Services Committee in the Council of Wasit province, announced the arrival of the first batch of the Austrian bridge, which will be implemented on the Dujaili River in the south-west side of the city of Kut to connect new residential neighborhoods with the city center equipment.

The vice chairman of the Services Committee in the Council of His Owaied Algelebawi in an interview with (range), said that " the local government and because of the population expansion enormous , especially in recent years as a result of the distribution of hundreds of residential plots of land and the emergence of private in the Ambasshh area in the new residential districts , a bit far from the city center the south - west side of the city considered the implementation of a new bridge on the Dujailah River connects those neighborhoods with the city center. " He added that " the new bridge , or the so - called Ambasshh bridge is a bridge of iron specifications will be implemented by the Austrian roads, bridges and Wasit Directorate , in cooperation with the Municipality Directorate which is 32 meters long and seven meters."
He explained that " the first batch of equipment this bridge arrived at the work of Basra province by five large trucks while there are still parts of it will turn within the next week to take place after the implementation phase."
Algelebawi said that " the new bridge Austrian origin will link the Zen bow area (Shirazi Street) and the Ambasshh allows the passage of various vehicles in addition to the transit of citizens from Ambasshh area , one of the modern areas to the city center and offers a lot of time to the inhabitants of those areas after they cut the distance long to get to the city of Kut. "
He pointed out that " the new bridge will be implemented within a short period of work will be shared between the implementation of roads, bridges and municipal approaches are creating and modifying the streets leading him to be passable."
The Municipality of Kut , the Directorate has carried out another bridge in the same area dedicated to pedestrian crossing and was a meter wide and half a meter but did not result in the purpose of population density and the large number of vehicles there.
The River Dujailah which will be implemented by the new bridge , one of the most important branches of the Tigris River and takes water from the railway provider of Kut and separates some residential neighborhoods located on the western side of the city from its center, with a width of more than 50 meters.
