Baghdad/ Iraq TradeLink: The Iraqi Supreme Judicial Council announced a statistics on the suicide
cases in the country for the last year, pointing that Baghdad (38) , Karbala (23) and Thi Qar (22) provinces were the highest in the records.
Only three provinces did not register suicidal cases. They were Najaf, Diala and Muthanna provinces.
Sociologists believe that the main reasons for these attempts were economic aspects, internet blackmailing, drugs and honor cases.
The cases in other provinces were: Qadissiya (15), Babel (12), Salahal-din (6), Basra (3), Missan (2), Wassit and Kirkuk (1 for
