The Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs announced the inclusion of about one million retired workers in the private sector with social security.
"His ministry has taken the necessary measures to unify the salaries of workers in the private sector secured by the salaries of workers in the government sector within the general pension fund," the ministry quoted Abdul Karim Abdullah as saying.
The newspaper said that "the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs included 900 thousand workers retired in the private sector social security."
He added that the Cabinet recently voted on the draft social insurance law, which guarantees all workers in the private sector a pension equivalent to the salaries of state employees pensions, and includes the transfer of pension to the back in the event of the death of the retired worker, in addition to maternity leave for women working in the private sector Like those working in the government sector. "
"The number of insured workers is still modest compared to the number of projects in the private sector," he said, adding that "the ministry is keen to improve the level of living income of workers."
