Abadi and Safadi are discussing the creation of the requirements to expedite the opening of Trebil port
Prime Minister Haider al-Abbadi and Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi on Thursday discussed the necessity of speeding up the opening of the border crossing between Iraq and Jordan. Safadi said that his government and people support Iraq in its war against terrorism.
"The Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi received in his office today, the Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi and the accompanying delegation," Ebadi's office said in a statement received by the "Economy News" a copy of it. "During the meeting, they discussed the strengthening of bilateral relations between the two countries in the fields Political, security and economic ".
He added that the two sides also discussed "the creation of the requirements to accelerate the opening of the border crossing with Jordan (Tarebil road)."
Safadi said, according to the statement, "the congratulations of the King of Jordan and the Jordanian Prime Minister of the victories achieved by the Iraqi forces against the gangs of the terrorist and the liberation of Iraqi territory."
