Human rights organizations reveal methods of Israeli occupation to displace Jerusalemites

Seven Palestinian human rights organizations have unveiled the mechanisms and methods adopted by the Israeli occupation authorities to expel the residents of Jerusalem. Three stages have been identified, including the enactment of laws and the adoption of racist policies.
"By granting permanent residency to Palestinians in Jerusalem, entering and living in the city has become a retractable privilege, rather than an inherent right," the Palestinian news agency Al Rai reported.
The aim of these information plans is to raise awareness about Israel's racist policies in the city, its direct impact on the Palestinian population, and the serious violation of international law and international humanitarian law resulting from the adoption of these policies.
The institutions revealed the existence of illegal policies in the cancellation of residency targeting Palestinians in Jerusalem, stressing that the abolition of permanent residence is one of the most direct means used by "Israel" to forcibly displace Palestinians from East Jerusalem, so that it can maintain a Jewish majority in the city.
