[rtl]The Security and Defense Committee in the House of Representatives, the possibility of linking the Peshmerga commander-in-chief of the armed forces directly, especially as the outgoing Kurdistan region president Massoud Barzani, has become a loss of legitimacy and required to eliminate.[/rtl]
[rtl]"There is a possibility of linking the Peshmerga forces to the commander-in-chief of the armed forces, Haider al-Abadi, especially the loyal forces of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan," said a member of the committee, Iskandar and Tut.[/rtl]
[rtl]He added that "Barzani has become a loss of legitimacy and required for the Iraqi judiciary," adding that "those who take up arms against the federal government subject to the provisions of Article 156 and sentenced to death."[/rtl]
[rtl]He explained that "linking the Peshmerga forces to Abadi, needs time, because the number is not a little and needs to be counted between the hands of the government and those who took up arms against them." He pointed out that "these steps followed by the restructuring of the Peshmerga and linked to the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Haider Abadi."[/rtl]
[rtl]He pointed out that "the Peshmerga belonging to the party (Talabani) support the unity of Iraq, and easy to link Abadi, primarily as border guards."[/rtl]
[rtl]He pointed out that "the Peshmerga loyal to Barzani, will not be recognized by the government, and therefore will be illegal and will lose its dues."[/rtl]
[rtl]The federal government imposed its authority in the disputed areas after the withdrawal of Peshmerga elements of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan in coordination with Baghdad, unlike the forces loyal to Barzani, who opened fire on federal forces in some areas.[/rtl]
