Elections in Japan determine the fate of the prime minister

The Japanese are due to vote on Sunday to vote on Prime Minister Shinzo Abe's five-year rule and determine whether Abe will go ahead with a review of the country's peaceful constitution.
"Media predictions show that Abe's bet on early elections will probably bear fruit as the LDP-led coalition approaches his two-thirds majority in the House of Representatives before his dissolution," Reuters said in a news release. .
"If a big victory wins, Abe's chances of winning a third term as leader of the LDP will increase in September next year and become Japan's most powerful prime minister," she said.
