The price of a barrel of Kuwaiti oil drops 4 cents

KUALA LUMPUR: The price of a barrel of Kuwaiti oil fell 4 cents in trading Thursday to reach the level of 60.31 dollars, compared to 60.35 dollars in trading last Wednesday, according to the price announced by Kuwait Petroleum Corporation.
On global markets, crude oil prices rose on the New York Mercantile Exchange on Thursday, as well as the rise in global benchmark crude prices .
US crude <CLc1> rose 11 cents to $ 56.92 on the New York Mercantile Exchange, while Brent crude gained 36 cents to $ 63.45 on the London Stock Exchange.
Oil prices fell on Friday , with more action on extending the cut-off agreement .
The OPEC Secretary-General, Mohamed Barkindwa, confirmed this week that the consultations are currently intensively underway to reach a consensus before November 30 on the period of time ( to extend the agreement) beyond the deadline set at the end of March 2018 .
By 6:35 am GMT, the benchmark Brent crude was down 0.1 percent at $ 63.84 a barrel .
Nymex crude futures dropped $ 57.10 a barrel by 0.1 %.

Lower oil prices with anticipation of extended production cut decisions

KUALA LUMPUR: The price of a barrel of Kuwaiti oil fell 4 cents in trading Thursday to reach the level of 60.31 dollars, compared to 60.35 dollars in trading last Wednesday, according to the price announced by Kuwait Petroleum Corporation.
