Oil prices stabilized ahead of OPEC report
By 8:50 am GMT, the price of Brent crude for the US dollar was at $ 63.51 a barrel .
The price of NYMEX crude futures settled at $ 56.75 a barrel .
OPEC is due to release production data for the previous month .
The production of OPEC rose by 88.5 thousand barrels per day last month, reaching 32.75 million barrels .
The Secretary-General of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) said today that the world oil markets have rebalanced this year, following the commitment to the large reduction of production .
Mohammed Barkindo added that the oil sector and the global economy would benefit from the reduction of production signed with members from within OPEC and beyond .
The number of US exploration platforms for oil rose by 9 platforms during the week ending 10 November, to reach the level of 738 platforms .

Mubasher: Oil prices stabilized during Monday's trading, ahead of the release of OPEC's monthly production report, coinciding with the rise in the number of platforms for drilling for US crude.By 8:50 am GMT, the price of Brent crude for the US dollar was at $ 63.51 a barrel .
The price of NYMEX crude futures settled at $ 56.75 a barrel .
OPEC is due to release production data for the previous month .
