Government encourages private education: investment of human capital

    Range / Zahraa Al Jassim

The Chancellor of the Exchequer said that the recent spread of education at various levels represents an investment of human capital in the country, which will have a positive impact on the economy in general and on the education sector in particular. For its part, the parliamentary economy stressed that the state's tendency to grant operating loans to private universities is evidence of its support for the work of the private sector in various fields, which will contribute to reducing the unemployment rate among graduates in the teaching, technical and administrative fields and reducing the employment rate in the state, Of the funds as salaries to employees.
Rafidain Bank announced early last week to grant operating loans to private universities of up to 100 million dinars, the payment of 5 years, and the Information Office of the bank in a statement received (the extent) a copy, that this came to contribute to support and create the appropriate educational environment in the country.
The spread of universities and schools in both primary and preparatory, and even kindergartens in Iraq recently a positive indicator of economic development in the country, as seen by the financial adviser to Prime Minister Dr. The appearance of Mohammed Saleh in an interview with (Mada), which says that this proliferation represents an investment in human capital and the enhancement of national wealth, which we are always encouraged.
Saleh added that this increase in the number of private universities does not prevent the transfer of part of the free formal university education to education for remuneration to create scientific competition in the educational services developed for pay. He called for the need to establish a scientific council to supervise the scientific probity of university education or education. In return for remuneration, as this council will be a supervisory and regulatory force that regulates the regulations to monitor the health of human investment paths through market forces through the provision of university educational services.
He stressed that the development of education and the diversity of its institutions and many of them is a great renaissance that establishes the absorption of all energies and their involvement in the field of work. It is also an investment process by adopting a compulsory twinning program for each university with a prestigious international university in order to promote higher education. Its designation as an economic term in the process of foreign investment of high human resources in Iraq, which is reflected positively on the Iraqi economy in various aspects.
According to the latest statistics, the number of Iraqi universities was 35 government universities, while 45 were civil universities, one police academy, a university affiliated to the Ministry of Defense and the other belong to the Ministry of the Interior and two universities belonging to the Sunni and Shiite posts. The head of the parliamentary economic committee, Ahmed Kanani said in an interview with (the extent), that the pleasing in Iraq is the proliferation of universities and private schools as it helps in the graduation of advanced scientific class and in all specialties, because it features advanced sections of the process, and contribute to the operation of thousands of Which reduces the unemployment rate, especially among the new graduates and the various administrative and teaching specialties, in addition to the employment of the unemployed, and it contributes to the increase of some segments of the professors and specialists because it gives an opportunity for many of them to work overtime hours.
The spread of private schools and universities is part of the process of activating the private sector, which we have been encouraging. We also encourage employment in this sector to absorb the momentum of recruitment in the government departments, creating a huge operational budget that slows the government. The private sector has several benefits and positive effects on the Iraqi economic reality, especially since we have a law that protects workers in the private sector, whether associations or companies. This law regulates what we need now for intellectual awareness of those who want to work in the private sector, whether in universities, Or company To guarantee the right through the organization of his appointment to that body works papers.
He stressed that Iraq needs a lot of these universities, schools and scientific institutions and others within the work of the private sector, being a health situation that creates competition in the work between public and private universities, and it creates many and multiple employment opportunities for most segments of Iraqi society, During the opening of the field and encourage these universities to work freely and the best proof of this is granting operational loans to them.
The universities of Iraq are divided into four main sections of the universities: the first are government universities; government-owned universities, then the Kurdistan region; they are located within the borders of the Kurdistan region and owned by the provincial government, then universities and private colleges; private universities that are not government-owned, Owned by institutions such as trade unions, public or private organizations or even universities associated with non-Iraqi institutions, as well as universities and higher education institutions not affiliated with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, such as universities, military colleges and police colleges. My religion is the Sunni and the Shiite.
