US President Donald Trump has revealed that his country will not protect countries that do not pay for NATO.
"He refuses to protect the United States of America from NATO member states that do not pay for the costs of NATO membership," Trump was quoted by Sputnik news agency as saying.
He added that "during his visit to NATO earlier this year, he pointed out that those who do not pay, he will not be a member of NATO," adding that "there is a NATO member does not pay, and then start flirting with Russia," saying that "we find ourselves In World War III because of a state that does not pay for its membership. "
