    Information / Baghdad ..
The Iraqi Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply announced on Saturday that the Iraqi government has agreed to exempt 371 items from customs duties.
"The government has decided to exempt production inputs from customs duties for coffee, spices and nuts in all regions of the Kingdom with a view to achieving equality with the development zones since the beginning of next year, as well as renewing the price advantage of the national industry by tenders, by 17.2 percent," the official Al-Rai newspaper reported.
He added that "the Ministry of Industry and Trade circulated to the chambers of industry a preliminary list of goods that Iraq agreed to exempt from customs duties to enter its markets, amounting to 371 goods, stressing efforts are also being made to obtain a new list to increase exports to the Iraqi market.
The judges said that "the government is waiting for a request from the chambers of industry to impose protection for the Jordanian dairy industry to contribute to support the national industry within the international requirements." Ending / 25
