    Iraqi Jordanian agreement to exempt Jordanian products from customs duties



    The Minister of Industry and Trade and Supply judges express, on Thursday, an Iraqi - Jordanian agreement to exempt Jordanian products from customs duties and energy supply production plants early next month , the Iraqi side, and a commitment to agricultural Balrosnamh in Iraq.

    He called on the judges in comments reported by the Jordanian "opinion" newspaper, he said that the 'local factories that have a desire to export the Iraqi market to speed up the supply ministry of energy production have to be sent to the Iraqi authorities to exempt them from customs duty'.

    He explained that the 'D - Iraqi oil pipeline to the port of Aqaba is one of the important strategic projects that will contribute to the supply needs of the Kingdom's oil and make the port of Aqaba , the source of export head of the Iraqi oil, which hopefully it create job opportunities for individuals, companies and contracting sector'.

    The Jordanian minister said 'difficult economic situation , which is currently experienced by the Kingdom due to conditions in the region and the decline in private exports to the Iraqi market, which fell from 900 million dinars in 2014 to about 320 million last year, in addition to the challenge of the budget deficit and rising debt ratio to GDP, and the modest economic growth and high unemployment rates to 16 percent over the past year, stressing that these circumstances require a participatory between the public and private sectors to overcome them. "

    He drew the judges 'decisions taken by the government to simplify the procedures regarding the registration of companies that the granting of licenses and the renewal of professions licenses in order to improve business and attract investment and facilitate the exercise of the business environment ", expected with regard to the Iraqi market' open Trebil crossing over the next three months , especially after the signing of the Iraqi authorities finally agreement with a specialized company to secure and protect the road from the border to Baghdad. "
