cash - China plans to encourage the use of yuan in foreign cash transactions 640 05 January 2018 11:47 p

[rtl] The People's Bank of China said it would encourage companies to use the yuan currency in cross-border cash transactions, representing a competition for the US dollar, which is used in most of these transactions.[/rtl]
    [rtl]
The Bank said in a statement Friday that in order to facilitate the use of the currency to foreign investors in terms of direct investment, China will encourage the use of the local currency.

He said China would allow foreign enterprises to use the yuan to trade "carbon emissions" at the local level.

Carbon trading aims to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in the atmosphere either by using environmentally friendly technologies or by reducing industrial activity. Global carbon markets have been established so that carbon shares can be sold and purchased between countries or between state-owned enterprises.

This week, the Central Bank of Pakistan decided to use the Chinese yuan for bilateral trade and investment activities, hours after the US president accused the Asian nation of covering up terrorists.
