Iran declares its "inability" to allocate a budget to its Revolutionary Guards

TEHRAN (Reuters) - President Hassan Rowhani told the military leadership his government was unable to allocate a budget to the Revolutionary Guard and pay salaries to two military forces (the government army and the Guards), a member of the Iranian parliament said on Thursday.
"Rowhani told parliament he could not provide salaries to two military forces," Qadusi, a member of the National Security and Foreign Policy Committee, told reporters. "The chief of staff of the armed forces, Muhammad Ali Bagheri, sent a letter to Rowhani on Jan. 13, On the financial allocations of the armed forces.
