The Iranian Statistics Center reported that nearly 10,000 families live in tents, alleys and slums in the first half of this year, according to Iran Wair.
The Center conducted a survey on the energy consumption and environmental characteristics of urban households, and the statistics show that these households have no housing in the understandable sense, as well as the marginalization they suffer.
Another part of these statistics shows that poor rural households in Iran produced more than 175,000 tons of waste each week; each of them had 9.7 kg per week.
According to the results of the center, the 59.8? Of households in slums recycle waste, 58.7 are reused? Of plastic bags than other waste by urban households, compared with 5.4 million households living in urban areas using plastic materials consumed at least once a month.
According to the report, the equivalent of 14.5 million knives, spoons and tongs, 45.9 million cups, 18.9 million plates, and 32.5 million square meters of plastic were used once a month.
