The Kirkuk provincial council revealed on Sunday the intention of the federal government to extend a pipeline to the Iranian city of Kermanshah in order to export the province's oil, pointing out that Baghdad has transferred responsibility for the production of oil fields and export to the Federal Oil Ministry.
The Council member Najat Hussein said in a statement to the information that "the federal government plans to extend an oil pipeline to export oil from the province of Kirkuk towards the province of Kermanshah, Iran," noting that "Baghdad is considering the second option is the export of oil through Iranian ports, Bad security situation in some ways bonding.
