The Jordanian Minister of State for Investment, Muhannad Shehadeh, announced on Sunday measures to enable Iraqi investors to invest in the Kingdom and to obtain residency and nationality if they so wish.
"The Jordanian government is determined to overcome any obstacles facing investors, especially the Iraqis," Shehadeh was quoted as saying by the Jordanian daily al-Ghad. "The recent measures taken by the government to enable Iraqi investors to invest in the kingdom and obtain residency and citizenship if they so wish, .
"Jordan is an investment destination for all, with its investment opportunities and the services and benefits it offers to investors," Shehadeh added.
The head of the Iraqi Business Council in Amman, Majid al-Saadi, announced Sunday that the number of Iraqi businessmen in Jordan reached 30 thousand with the size of investment of 18 billion dollars. Ending / 25
