    [ltr]The Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers Mahdi Al-Alaq discussed Monday with a British delegation the vision of Iraq to combat corruption and reconstruction.[/ltr]
    [ltr]"The latter received a British political delegation led by Baroness Joyce St Johns to discuss Iraq's vision to combat corruption and reconstruction," said a statement by the office of Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers Mahdi Al-Alaq.[/ltr]
    [ltr]He added that "the delegation included Ross Thompson, a politician in the Conservative Party of Scotland, and Baron McNaz of the political party in the Scottish Conservative Party, Baron Edward Volks, a member of the Conservative Party and the Minister of Justice of Britain (2013 - 2016), Baron Jeremy Borges of Tweed politician The Liberal Democratic Party.[/ltr]
    [ltr]"The delegation also discussed the relationship with Kurdistan, the results of the Kuwait International Conference for the Reconstruction of Iraq, the efforts of the government to combat corruption and control the slack in operating expenses, in conjunction with the decline in oil prices in 2014 until 2016."[/ltr]
    [ltr]For his part, "the Secretary-General reviewed the government's measures to combat corruption, the formation of three teams in the Integrity Commission, the inspectors and the Financial Control Bureau, as well as international experts in the Prime Minister's Office."[/ltr]
