Iraq's gold reserves hold firm and maintain its 37th position globally

The International Gold Council announced on Wednesday that Iraq is the world's 37th largest exporter of gold reserves in November, noting that the United States maintained its first position in terms of reserves.
The World Gold Council in a report, "Economy News", "Iraq's reserve of gold amounted to 89.8 tons," noting that "Iraq continues to maintain its position in the world 37 in terms of these reserves."
The Council added that "this amount represents 8.0% of other reserves of foreign currency with the Central Bank of Iraq," pointing out that "Iraq has not bought gold since 2015, but has maintained this level since that time."
"The United States is still the world's first in terms of these reserves registered 8.133 tons, followed by Germany with 3.373 tons."
