The US dollar hit a record high in the official market of the Iranian capital Tehran, after the price of the US dollar today, Sunday, 8700 Toman.
A large number of businessmen and shopkeepers demonstrated in the center of Tehran to protest the foreign exchange market turmoil on many of Tehran's main streets, including Kiyapan Jumhuri.
The ISNA news agency reported that the price of each dollar in Tehran's free market was $ 8,700, but unofficial sources said the figure exceeded 9,000 tomans.
