"The Ministerial Economic Affairs Committee chaired by Minister of Planning and Trade Salman Al-Jumaili, during its 16th session on Tuesday, hosted Minister of Interior Qassem Al-Araji and a number of senior leaders in the ministry, including the General Traffic Manager and the Director of the Ministry of Planning. General Rescue Police, Director General of the Legal Department, Director General of the Administrative Department and Director General of Contracts "
The statement added that "the Committee valued the efforts and sacrifices of the Ministry of the Interior to extend security and fight terrorism," noting that "during the meeting, a number of files related to strengthening the ministry's capabilities and security effort through the provision of mechanisms and wheels that help the ministry's formations to perform their tasks in the best way" .
"The committee discussed the reality of border ports and ways to develop them and work to implement laws and regulations to ensure the protection of the consumer and the local product and support the national economy," the statement said. "The committee will continue its efforts in this context in coordination with the concerned bodies represented by the border ports, Trade ".
The statement pointed out that "the 16th session, attended by the Governor of the Central Bank of Iraq Ali Alaq, and the Chairman of the National Investment Authority Sami Araji and undersecretaries of the ministries of finance and planning and agriculture and economic adviser to the Prime Minister," adding that "I discussed a number of economic issues related to the economic situation of Iraq and took the necessary decisions and recommendations "
