The Iraqi Council of Representatives in the last day of the legislative age to hold a deliberative session to discuss the counting and manual counting of the recent elections, and the possibility that the process includes the ballot boxes throughout Iraq.
A parliamentary source told Ashqaf News that the parliament held a deliberative session under the chairmanship of the First Deputy Speaker Humam Hamoud and the presence of 127 deputies. He pointed out that so far the quorum for holding a legal session that requires the presence of half + one of the total number has not been achieved.
For his part, Hamoudi said in a speech during the deliberative session, that there is no amendment in the Fourth Amendment to extend the work of the House of Representatives, but the demand for the counting and counting of all ballot boxes inside and outside Iraq.
He added that the extension of the work of the House of Representatives a dangerous precedent that would kill the political process did not want to add this paragraph at all, noting that the electoral process has become the question of all the government and the legislature.
