WASHINGTON (Reuters) - US President Donald Trump defended his efforts to build a relationship with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin and said in an interview broadcast on Friday that their talks were sometimes inconsistent.
"We had a meeting that went on for more than two hours. It was not consensual all the time," Trump told CNBC in an interview on Thursday.
