    Iraq is studying the opening of Vishkhabur and Afokai with Turkey


    Iraq plans to open the Feshkhabur and Afokai bombers with Turkey.
    The head of the border crossing points, Kazem al-Aqabi, headed today the first meeting of the committee to prepare the technical and economic study to open the port of Vishkhabur on the Iraqi side, and Afokai on the Turkish side.
    "The committee held its meeting in implementation of Diwani Order No. 26 / Q, which includes representatives of the relevant ministries in this committee, namely foreign affairs, interior, planning, trade, transport, agriculture, health, telecommunications, finance, customs and national intelligence."
    The Commission said that "the committee was formed to study the economic feasibility of the opening of the two implementers, and activate trade and economic cooperation between Iraq and Turkey to serve to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries in the current."

    The head of the border crossings, Kadhim al-Aqabi, announced on Monday the preparation of a technical study to open the port (Vishkhabur) on the Iraqi side and (Avokai) on the Turkish side.
    "The Commission held a meeting and set up a committee to study the economic feasibility of opening the two ports and activating trade and economic cooperation between Iraq and Turkey in a way that serves to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries," he said in a statement.
    "The meeting was attended by representatives of the relevant ministries in the committee (foreign affairs, interior, planning, trade, transport, agriculture, health, communications, finance, customs, and national intelligence)."
