    The leadership of the Islamic Dawa Party met on Thursday evening and discussed the political developments in Iraq and the region and the ongoing negotiations between the political blocs to form the new government. 
    The party issued a statement on Friday, in which the outcome of the meeting was most beautiful. 
    1- The meeting stressed the need to accelerate the formation of the new government and adherence to constitutional contexts in relation to the tasks of the largest bloc and its role specified by the Constitution, which requires an effective government to promote the required services projects and completion of infrastructure projects while maintaining security and stability and combating the remnants of terrorism and complete the construction and development of security institutions In order to safeguard the security of Iraq and the Iraqi people, in addition to its tasks in promoting the promising economic project and combating poverty, unemployment and other necessities of a free and dignified life.
    2. The new government should assume the responsibility of combating financial, administrative and political corruption, seriously monitoring corruption files within the legal framework, and establishing the necessary legislative and executive mechanisms to accomplish this task quickly. 
    3 - Must adhere to the constitutional formulas and timings in the election of senior positions and the formation of the government, as confirmed by the supreme religious authority. 
    4 - The Islamic Dawa Party believes that the new government is an open government to all political blocs and components wishing to participate in the formation of a government of national partnership away from party and sectarian quotas. 
    5 - Move on the political blocs to unify the national positions in accordance with this vision and the completion of national tasks in full cooperation between them and achieve peaceful and easy exchange of power in accordance with the Constitution and the democratic political project.
    6 - The meeting stressed the decision of the Shura Council of the Islamic Dawa Party in the continuous pursuit of the unification of the two blocs of victory and the rule of law to activate their role and their positions in the political process in all political, legislative and executive aspects.
