A statement by the Information Office of the Kurdistan Regional Government received and Euphrates News Agency {} a copy of it on Wednesday, "The two sides also discussed during the meeting, which was attended by British Consul General in Erbil, the political situation and the current security on the Iraqi arena in general, and security developments and military in Anbar province in particular."
Barzani stressed during the meeting that "the provincial government is ready to tackle terrorism," stressing "the need to respond to the demands of the legal and constitutional fair to the people of the province by the government."
He stressed that "with the provincial government to address the problems through dialogue and understanding, based on the return to the Constitution and taking into consideration the supreme interests of Iraq in general."
For his part, the British ambassador for "his country's readiness to cooperate in addressing the problems through dialogue and offer any assistance in this area, hoping to come up with solutions through understanding."
He expressed his "gratitude of his country for the provincial government to assist and accommodate the displaced people from Anbar province who have been forced to go to the Kurdistan region due to the deteriorating security situation and the military operations," he said, adding that "After the opening of Standard Chartered Bank British International in Baghdad will witness Arbil on the third of March next opening of the branch Bank of the well.
