    {Al-Furat News} Al-Zawraa Company, one of the companies of the Ministry of Industry and Minerals, revealed its entry into the international network as the first manufacturer of solar plants.
    "The company has entered the field of manufacturing solar plants manufactured within the international network, which includes all countries producing renewable energy by solar plants," a statement by the ministry said. 
    He stressed that "the plants of the solar company is the first of its kind as an Iraqi industry, where each station was classified by giving it a specific identification code within the network to follow it internationally." 
    Iraq has been suffering a major crisis in securing electricity and has in recent years led to demonstrations and casualties due to lack of energy, especially in the summer months. 
    Reports say successive governments after 2003 spent more than $ 40 billion on the electricity sector without achieving significant improvement due to corruption, waste and delusional projects.
