    Revolution in the Iraqi Parliament

    The deputy legislative speaker Bashir Haddad that the second legislative term will witness a revolution in the adoption of important laws that are in the interest of the citizen and the provision of services and infrastructure and reconstruction of liberated areas, in addition to the completion of the cabinet cabins. 
    Al-Haddad said in a press statement that the first legislative term is over and we have not been able to pass and approve several important laws because of the political disputes over the formation of the government and the completion of the ministerial cabin on the one hand and the formation and resolution of the names of parliamentary committees on the other. 

    "The Presidency has been able to return a number of laws to the government, reaching 111 laws, which was a stage of the previous parliamentary sessions, the return of laws to the government," Haddad said.

    Al-Haddad said that "in order to determine the priorities and most important among them, to start re-discussed with a new vision, the government has sent to the House of Representatives 13 of these laws after they were studied in accordance with the curriculum of the government will be discussed with the beginning of the second legislative term.


    He stressed "the need to stabilize national positions and create the appropriate atmosphere for the next stage."

    The second deputy speaker of the House of Representatives Bashir Haddad said on Thursday that the first legislative term ended without passage and approval of several important laws because of political disputes over the formation of the government and the completion of the ministerial cabin, pointing out that the next chapter will witness a "revolution" in passing laws.
    "The presidency has been able to return a number of laws to the government, up to 111 laws, which was a stage of the previous parliamentary sessions ," Haddad said , noting that "the return of laws to the government in order to determine the priorities and most important of them, to begin to re-discuss a new vision , The government has sent to the House of Representatives 13 of these laws after they were studied in accordance with the appropriate curriculum and the government will be discussed with the beginning of the second legislative term in accordance with the priority.
    He added that "the second legislative, will witness a revolution in the adoption of important laws that are in the interest of the citizen and affect the provision of services and infrastructure and reconstruction of the devastated areas," adding that «the beginning of the next chapter will witness the completion of the ministerial cabin in addition to resolving the issue of naming parliamentary presidencies.
    Al-Haddad said that "the previous parliamentary sessions saw priority given to security laws in order to strengthen security, while the current stage will devote priority to the laws that provide services," noting that "the security aspect we have seen a significant improvement after the victories achieved by the Iraqi army to organize a supporter of the terrorist".
    He added that "the House of Representatives is determined to proceed with the adoption of laws that serve the community, including the service, economic and social, and the most important laws to protect the family and protect individuals within the family and face family and community violence and will be a priority of our work in the next legislative chapters," noting that the Presidency seeks to approve The law to confront domestic violence and national language to suit our customs and cultures and the protection of human rights and every member of the family."
